What does He accept, what time, color or what shape: Karabhajan Yohishwarji

To the above inquiry of King Nimi plus additional supplement as to what should men do to worship HIM, what name and what process, Chamas Yogishwar asks the King to do away with all the dualities and the classifications attending to that. There should be no distinction.
Sole and only feeling, Ananya Bhava, should be his concentration. Do away with secondary feelings, perceptions, thoughts and intuition; Leave them all away, dismiss them in the sky, so to say literally. Always remain steadfast in His prayers. There will be no sin, even if it occured, Hari will wash away all of them. Take pure conscience into your Being.

Mind and senses not yet calmed down

In the process of earning meta-physical knowledge, King Nimi continues enquiring the nine Yogishwaris: the eighth question regarding taming up  of the mind and the senses is taken by Chamasji. What will happen/befall upon those persons whose wishes have not yet been calmed; whose worldly and para-worldly lust for enjoyment have not yet been fulfilled; hankering after enjoyment in the world beyond paramountly exists; mind and related senses are not under control; don't' perform prayers and meditation. A long list is forwarded to Chamas Rishiji.
The Rishi explains to the King that The Virat Purusha, The Macro-cosmic person is the lord, soul and determinate of men/women's fate. He is Niyanta, Swami and Atma. From his mouth was created the sattva pradhan Bramhan, From His hands came the mixed sattva and raja pradhan Kshatriyas, from His thigh came, raja mixed tama pradhan vaishya and grihastha ashram, the householders in the present nomenclature; from feet, tama pradhan shudra and from heart came bramhacharya, abstinence, from chest came vanprastha, the forest-dwellers and from head/brain came the sanyas asram.
Ashram and Pradhan relate to life styles of the then era, while the attributes of triguna,i.e., the sattvic, rajasic and tamasic were explained in detail in my previous blog under the same title/headings. Loosely explaining, sattvic is pure, rajasic is active performer while tamasic is dull, idle or something not good. A combination of these three attributes run our life and there is a mixture of these attributes, while we perform. Thus there could be plethora of combinations but Pradhan connotes, which attribute is a major one,or which attribute commands.
The Rishi further explains: we do not know the mystery of Karma, work; Study of Vedas from birth, wearing of sacred thread with a vow, near  the feet of Lord, etc does not mean that one is ascetic or god-friendly; not understanding the exact meaning or significance of Veda, but nevertheless, explaining them by words only. the arthavada, meaning, the conservatives.Explaining the purport of words, without its real significance.
Ego and attachment, longing women, always indulging and limiting oneself in sex with women, as if they provide satisfaction the Jiva, wealth and prosperity, lineage, education, donation, elegance, etc., all these together with strength and ego of work, men become blind and insult the saints and sages.
The Rishi further delves into the significance of Soutramni Yagna, whose intent is to establish selflessness, dignity or self-respect, and control of vulgar nature. He states that the result of wealth is to conduct piousness, from pious emanates knowledge of supreme reality and furthermost is the belief in religion. From there results the accomplishment of direct experience. Belief leads to maximum peace.
Self destructive people take ignorance as knowledge and for them, peace will never be attained. They are helpless and become helpless.

INFINITISM

The last post was unceremoniously cut short. What I did not mention was that following severe Titiksha, power to tolerate, whoever worships Shree Hari in the form of Fire, the Sun, Water, Guests  and own  inner conscience, the paramount soul as Shree Hari, he is liberated immediately.
King Nimi's Seventh question to Sage Drumil relates to the gospel and appearances of Infinity; all past, present and future appearances  of the Supreme Reality, which we call God in the absence of proper words, for he is wordless, as He performs such gospels independently but under the spell of infuence of His followers, the religious-oriented.
God is Infinite. Perhaps, one can count all the dust particles of the Universe, but nobody can illustrate, let explain or describe Him, the Formless. His countless attributes, the source/refuge of all Powers, emantes on His own as He creates Five Mahabhoot e.g., Earth, Water, Air, Light, Sky: His Manifold Virat form as inner conscience, the Antaryami, is his part of the whole,  we as Amsa. This Antaryami enters into and a being is created and that jiva becomes enjoyer, Bhokta; The owner of this manifold body, the Sariri is the beginningless doer Narayana.
From His Rajoguna part Brahma is created; from Sattvic part Dharma- Religion; from Tamoguna part He became Rudra. His first appearnce, Avatar, is Virat Purusha, Narayana. Then from daughter Moorti of Daksha Prajapati, son of Brahma, was born Nara-Narayana. He practiced Naiskarmya, unattched work, having no greed of outcome. He lives in Badri Ashram.  Fearful of his ascetic meditative power, Indra attempted a false start to disturb him by sending angels like Urvashi, luring them into worldly carnal desires. Nara-Narayana was furious but were not avengeful. Because they were beyond Maya  and socalled Pure, Nirvikar, Changeless. Many of the Ascetics seem to control their senses, hunger-thirst, heat-cold and tolerate the turbulence, lightning-rains; can control  the wild waves of their lust for food and sex which are compared to oceanic upheavals; they tolerate this, cross them but somehow remain under the influence of anger and lose their wisdom. They get swept away, drowned by the  torrent size of a cow footsteps:  Self-destructive, they thus lose thier hard earned Tapasya, meditation.
Many of God's appearances- Swan, Datrateya, Sanak-Sanandan-Sanatan-Sanatkumar and coming down to earthly appearnces as  our father Rishav, and many such Avatars like Fish, Hayagriv, Tortoise, Narasimha, Vaman,  Parsuram, Rama, Krishna, Buddha have all been deeds/gospels of God to serve mankind, His faithful devotees and as was said earlier comes down to earth under their inflence.

Siddhi

Those whose ignorance have not been fully emancipated, whose senses are not under control and if he unilaterally casts away the actions defined by the VEDA to be performed, then he, as a result of not acting accordingly, falls into reverse actions which is contrary to religious acts. Therefore, those who are unattached to the results of action, karma, surrenders everything to the God, Lord of the Universe, he attains knowledge-oriented perfection, Siddhi, which is action-accomplished. Here the word may convey some other meaning but whose purport is different. Those who want their knots of heart be unbridled, they should carefully follow the process: get instructions from Gurudev after rendering unselfish service;learn the process of divine worship; worship the statute of Lord he loves from his heart; clean/purify the body after bath, then cleanse the inner conscience from satisfaction; sitting before the image of God, conduct breathing exercises, Pranayama, purify past deeds, bhoot siddhi, cleanse arteries, vein and inner organs, nadi sodhan, and then chant sacred hymn, and pledge prayers. An ascetic obtains salvation obtained by abstraction, conduct sixteen process of Hari's worship in his heart as his own, as himself as self.

Karma Akarma and Bikarma

Instructing King Nimi on performance of actions by which people become pure, Yogishwar Aabirhotra , sixth of the nine Yogishwaris - who gave sincere words to King Nimi on self-realization - propounds the theory of Naiskarmya i.e., inactivity or exemption from the fruits of actions, deliberately. It is essential to understand the enjoyment of freedom from the results of action.
As per Scriptures, there are three kinds of Karma: Action, Inaction and reverse Action i.e., violation of required actions. A thorough knowledge and understandings of which can be attained by VEDA only, and not by worldly manners. VEDA is of divine origin; it is Superhuman. It is indeed very difficult to determine the purpose or significance of action. It determines actions for being, sort of, free from it. It is derived in one's absence, in one's living out of sight. To be free from Karma is becoming an accomplished, attained man.
You do work not for its fruits/outcome. It is akarma, inaction when you are totally unattached in accomplishing a work.

Severe Devotion

Pralaya, Stithti and Srishti or Universal destruction of Matter, Maintenance/Sustenance of them and creation/existence of Properties are the instrumental or efficient cause - Nimitta and Upadan karana  of Narayana - His form and formless Feature is so described in Bhagvat Purana. This dialogue is a continuation of conversation between Nine Yogishwaris and King Nimi on the highest meaning of Vedanta.
We are made by Him, all the matter elements are created by Narayana, but Narayana himself is without cause.
When pointedly asked as to the swarup of narayana, Pippalayan maharshiji, responds that narayana is the witness/observer, sakshi, of our waking, Sleep and Dream state. On the 4th state, Turiya, same is he as in absorption mode, Samadhi..the highest form of concentration/Meditation.
By the cause of His existence, body, senses, life, conscience - all of them are able to work, perform but without Him, ears don’t hear, tongue don’t speak, legs wont walk. etc., Remember that the name of Narayana is that highest Reality, Tattva Gyan, the supreme truth.
In that highest realization, there is no flight of mind and speed of speech; Eyes cant see Him, Intellect fails to think, let alone vital life - Prana - and senses seem to work. One can not go even nearer. Nisedh, Neti, neti.. Distinction, differences or association - Vyatirek and Anyaya helps but does not get there; what gets there is your Soul, existence of your soul and self-realization….
When there was no beginning, He alone was. To ascertain/investigate and understand the beginning, three nature of Guna, sattva, raja and tama are said to be responsible; and was explained. They are the true state.
Further explained was  Gain, the acquisition of Knowledge. The knowledge of Kutastha- that I was asleep. Kutastha is the supreme soul, the unchangeable, remaining same perpetually…..the master of the state of sleep, dream and  awakening. That I talked in waking state, in memory, that I saw a dream and that I slept so well…..The Kutastha is the supreme knower, so is the knowledge of soul…It is immortal, indivisible very solid, so to say…Perhaps your accumulated thoughts, the mental power, the Chitta, as such.
However, Narayana is not the subject of gain. Achievement, gain is when gained is other than you. He is you.
It needs a lot of severe devotion; severe devotion alone, like Fire, destroys all the accumulated sins of Chitta, such as our likes and dislikes, the mala, the dirt that has not been cleaned from your conscience. Devotion, nevertheless, cleans all the attached debris of  your conscience which were the product of Guna and Karma… the nature and work that you did, attached with your body, senses, intellect, etc.,
When conscience, the inner observer of the mind gets cleaned, the soul is realized, otherwise not. We only crave with a guna, and we never find it.
When we are able to logically connect the cause and effect of Hetu and sadhya, then we become our true self.
So said Pippalayan Maharshi ji.

Life of spirituality

Those Saints who have directly realized the Supreme Spirit Lord Krishna as his God, Soul and Master, One should endeavor to learn from those saints the love and service of both kinds of being – stationary and moving, and especially of those beings who are providing services to others without any attachment, and of them too the God-loving saints.

Learn to talk with each other about God’s Fame and Glory only, learn to love each other by assembling such type of worshippers, be happy with each other and learn to experience spiritual peace by refraining from worldly paraphernalia.

O King Nimi! Shree Krishna destroys lots and lots of sin in no moment. Let all of us remember Him and make all out efforts to recollect Him with each and all of us all together. By performing such ritual efforts, love springs up and we start living a life of love of spiritual progress.
