Mind and senses not yet calmed down

In the process of earning meta-physical knowledge, King Nimi continues enquiring the nine Yogishwaris: the eighth question regarding taming up  of the mind and the senses is taken by Chamasji. What will happen/befall upon those persons whose wishes have not yet been calmed; whose worldly and para-worldly lust for enjoyment have not yet been fulfilled; hankering after enjoyment in the world beyond paramountly exists; mind and related senses are not under control; don't' perform prayers and meditation. A long list is forwarded to Chamas Rishiji.
The Rishi explains to the King that The Virat Purusha, The Macro-cosmic person is the lord, soul and determinate of men/women's fate. He is Niyanta, Swami and Atma. From his mouth was created the sattva pradhan Bramhan, From His hands came the mixed sattva and raja pradhan Kshatriyas, from His thigh came, raja mixed tama pradhan vaishya and grihastha ashram, the householders in the present nomenclature; from feet, tama pradhan shudra and from heart came bramhacharya, abstinence, from chest came vanprastha, the forest-dwellers and from head/brain came the sanyas asram.
Ashram and Pradhan relate to life styles of the then era, while the attributes of triguna,i.e., the sattvic, rajasic and tamasic were explained in detail in my previous blog under the same title/headings. Loosely explaining, sattvic is pure, rajasic is active performer while tamasic is dull, idle or something not good. A combination of these three attributes run our life and there is a mixture of these attributes, while we perform. Thus there could be plethora of combinations but Pradhan connotes, which attribute is a major one,or which attribute commands.
The Rishi further explains: we do not know the mystery of Karma, work; Study of Vedas from birth, wearing of sacred thread with a vow, near  the feet of Lord, etc does not mean that one is ascetic or god-friendly; not understanding the exact meaning or significance of Veda, but nevertheless, explaining them by words only. the arthavada, meaning, the conservatives.Explaining the purport of words, without its real significance.
Ego and attachment, longing women, always indulging and limiting oneself in sex with women, as if they provide satisfaction the Jiva, wealth and prosperity, lineage, education, donation, elegance, etc., all these together with strength and ego of work, men become blind and insult the saints and sages.
The Rishi further delves into the significance of Soutramni Yagna, whose intent is to establish selflessness, dignity or self-respect, and control of vulgar nature. He states that the result of wealth is to conduct piousness, from pious emanates knowledge of supreme reality and furthermost is the belief in religion. From there results the accomplishment of direct experience. Belief leads to maximum peace.
Self destructive people take ignorance as knowledge and for them, peace will never be attained. They are helpless and become helpless.
