With the accomplishment of devotion, the inquisitive student
realizes the real nature of the human soul or the material world as being
identical with the supreme spirit pervading the universe. The hitherto unknown
soul is realized, and the devotee understands the metaphysical aspect of the
universe, which is his knowledge and instrument to delve further into the
mysticism. Lord Prabuddha continues imparting secret knowledge to try learn
tame the mind to get unattached with the body, family; then learn how to love
with other devotees and fellow beings. Following that compassion, sympathy and
friendship with living beings develops without any reservations/conditioning,
without deceit, with a sense of propriety, decorum and polite.
Certain disciplines help attain a pure atmosphere such as
cleaning or purifying the outer layer of body with soil, water; inner cleaning
of mind from non-deceit and ill- maneuverings, practicing own religious
exercises, patience, silence and taciturnity,
silencing mind and senses, study and discussions on rare scriptures,
simplicity, celibacy, and non-violence. They should try not being attached to
happiness or sorrows, joy or grief, conflicts of happiness and disappointment,
confusion and bewilderment. The inquisitor should practice such attributes with
deep reflection, inquiry, examination and investigation.
